Joining the Server
The lake is waiting, counselor. All you need is a PlayStation and two minutes.
Join our Discord server!
Camp Crystal Lake isn't just a server - it's a community. We've got everything you need to survive the night.
Check #status to see if the server is up before you boot the game. Pamela keeps it updated in real time.
Looking for a full lobby? Head to #boosting to coordinate matches and trophy sessions.
Use /player with the Pamela bot to check your kills, escapes, matches, and more - without even turning on your console.
Something broken? Report it in #bug-reports. You might earn the Bug Killer role for your trouble.
What You Need
- A PS4 or PS5 with Friday the 13th: The Game installed
- PS Plus (required for online multiplayer - not even Jason can bypass that)
DNS Settings
The original servers are dead. By changing your DNS, you redirect the game to Camp Crystal Lake instead.
Server DNS: 46.62.159.148
- Go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection
- Select WiFi or LAN (whichever you use)
- Choose Custom setup
- Keep all settings default except DNS
- Set Primary DNS to
46.62.159.148 - Set Secondary DNS to
8.8.8.8 - Test connection and launch the game
- Go to Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection
- Select your network
- Press the Options button to access Advanced Settings
- Change DNS to Manual
- Set Primary DNS to
46.62.159.148 - Set Secondary DNS to
8.8.8.8 - Test connection and launch the game
Open Friday the 13th. You should see the main menu. You're back at camp.
Your other games and apps still work normally
Changing the DNS only affects how Friday the 13th connects. Everything else on your PlayStation works exactly as before.
Reverting DNS
Want to leave camp? (We wouldn't recommend it.)
- Go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection
- Select your connection type
- Select Easy (this resets everything to default)
- Go to Settings > Network > Settings > Set Up Internet Connection
- Select your network
- Press Options > Advanced Settings
- Change DNS back to Automatic
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| "Database login failure! Verify internet connectivity." | DNS is wrong or the server is down. Double-check the IP and check #status on Discord. |
| Other games not working | Make sure Secondary DNS is set to 8.8.8.8 |
| Lag or high ping | The server is located in Europe |
